Oviedo / Geneva / Sanford

Rode out this afternoon for an appointment about 9 miles away, and managed to extend it to a 43 mile loop of Oviedo, Geneva, Sanford and back home.
Cool and windy today, had to break out three layers of jackets (lined inner windproof under armored riding jacket) and the heavy gloves. Lots of wind today, with gusts up to 20+ miles per hour. Makes for interesting riding sometimes.

Oh, #$%#! Where’s my wedding ring?

The title kind of says it all. I was running some errands and wandering aimlessly this afternoon, and was at the Harley dealership looking at gloves. After trying on several pair, I went to the register to purchase a kickstand puck (which helps stabilize the bike when parked on gravel or other soft surfaces) and noticed I was no longer wearing my wedding ring.
I dashed madly back over to the glove rack, and began checking each of the gloves I had tried in a frantic search. After several moments, I struck gold (literally) and re-claimed my missing wedding band. Yikes.
