Inspiration

My inspiration to explore the world of motorcycling came from one of my two brothers who I am not related to, Sean.
Sean is a mild mannered (OK, not really) professor who, when the muse strikes, is transformed into the Rogue Rider. He rides a Harley Heritage Classic Softtail. And he definitely rides it. From Ontario across the continent to the west to Oregon, and from Ontario up and down the continent to Florida.
In Late September and early October of 2008, I accompanied Sean on a bike tour of Florida, from the Orlando area across to Tampa and then down to Key West, then up to Miami and back up to the Orlando area. It was a great trip, and it ignited an interest in learning to ride and tour on a bike.
Sean suggested a couple books (I’ll cover them in detail later), and I enrolled in an MSF Basic RiderCourse.
